Personal Training/ Strength Training: FOR ADULTS                                

Nancy offers her adult clients a refreshing approach to health and wellness. She creates an atmosphere where clients feel safe and comfortable. Our work will include strength and core muscle development, balance and agility. It might be about toning up for the first time in years, or embarking on a big challenge (triathalon, century ride, ski trip) Together we can create a space that's safe to push and challenge our bodies while exploring our inner sense of well being. 

As a nation we put so much emphasis on bone health but it's our muscles that hold up and stabilize the bones.  Have you ever pulled a muscle reaching for something, gardening or carrying groceries?  Could you run a mile if you had to? Can you walk up a few flights of stairs without feeling exhausted? Are you in shape for life's adventures?

Some people take personal training sessions for a short period of time to learn what kinds of things that they can do on their own or in a gym.  Others stay with Nancy a few times weekly indefinitely. 

We use your own body weight, large exercise balls, medicine balls, dumbells and bands and incorporate yoga postures in many sessions.

Cost:
Privates: $50 per session/ $450 for 10 sessions.

Semi-Private sessions: (2 people simultaneously)
$30 each per session/ $250 each for 10 sessions

Certification:  Nancy's been certified and recertified with the leading sports fitness group in the country, The National Academy of Sports Medicine, www.NASM.org In addition, she's a lifelong  teacher and athlete.
